One day after Romania’s pro-European coalition government narrowly survived a no-confidence vote, anti-government protesters took to the streets of Bucharest on Saturday. The demonstration, organized by far-right groups, demanded the cancellation of the presidential election’s first round, which was won by a far-right populist. The protesters accused Russia of interfering in the election and called for a second round to be held.
