The number of voters in Thiruvananthapuram district has increased to 29,04,092 after the latest revision of electoral rolls by the State Election Commission ahead of the 2025 local body elections.
The number is up by 16,828 on the previous revision held earlier this year and by 77,902 voters compared to the electoral roll used in the 2020 local elections.
The district now has 15,54,551 female voters, 13,49,510 male voters and 31 transgender voters.
The State Election Commission on Saturday published the final list of voters ahead of the 2025 elections.
Compared to 2020, when the last municipal elections were held, the number of female voters in the district increased by 65,264, male by 12,268 and transgender voters by ten. As of 2020, the district had 28,26,190 eligible voters including 14,89,287 women, 13,36,882 men and 21 transgender persons.
This time, the district has 41 foreign voters.
Thiruvananthapuram Corporation has 8,24,326 voters. Of the four municipalities in the districts, Neyyattinkara has 66,528 voters, Nedumangad has 57,716 voters, Attingal has 32,566 voters and Varkala has 33,604 voters.
In 2020, the local polls in Thiruvananthapuram district were held on 8 December.
