
The police arrested the accused on Tuesday, who allegedly killed a 20 -year -old girl from Anantapur almost a week back. The police said they would write to the government for attaching the accused’s property and to stop all government benefits to the defendant’s family for sending a strong message, that abominable crimes against women and children would be seriously solved.
With the accusations of laxity in the investigation of the case, the inspector of the city of Anantapur and Rajendranath Yadav was supported under suspension, the police said.
In an interview with reporters, superintendent of P. Jagadeesh police said that the accused, 27 -year -old Kububa Naresh from the 6th road in Anantapur, is a worker of the tiles at construction sites. He was married four years ago and has no children. Narnesh worked at a construction site in Ramakrishn Colony in the city, where he met the victims who live in the locality, three months back.
3rd June around 9 pm, a girl left for an excuse by buying a soft drink when she suffered from stomach pain. When she did not return, the family members were looking for her and filed a missing complaint the next day. Police issued a notice of the prospect and informed all police stations about the missing girl and started investigating.
7th June was found by the girl’s body on the outskirts of the city under the police station of the Kuder and was later identified as the victim’s body, said sp. Police asked the victim with their friends and neighbors and found that she was in friendship with Narsh. “The girl pushed Narnesh to get married. Narest, who was already married, wanted to get rid of the victim and took her to an isolated place on the outskirts of the city, where they often met and killed her,” Jagadeesh said. Narnesh broke the girl’s head and back with a boulder leading to her immediate death.
SP said initially that the parents of the girl filed a complaint against another person and the investigation was spinning around that person. “Since there has been a charge of the delay, we suspend the circle inspector. Although the investigation was carried out in the right way, it should be done better,” said file.
On the steps to prevent these crimes, SP said they would write to the government for connecting the accused. “Similarly, we recommend stopping all government benefits for the family,” he said.
Mr. Jagadeesh said they had increased a patrol in isolated places to prevent such crimes and also educated girls and women about their rights to educational institutions and workplaces.
