Two people were shot dead and five other injured after the quarrel over parking became violent at a wedding at Bihar’s Bhojpur District, the police said on Monday (April 21, 2025).
The incident occurred in the village of Laharpa in the Garhani police station around 21:30 on Sunday (April 20, 2025).
Avoid argument between two groups over parking vehicles at the wedding escalated, after one party launched fire for the other, the police said in their statement.
“While one person died of a bullet on the spot, another was declared dead doctors in the hospital,” they said.
The deceased were identified as Luvkush and Rahul.
Five others have suffered gunshot wounds and undergo treatment in a hospital in Ara, the district headquarters of Bhojpur, the police said.
“The case has been registered and the investigation is underway. The body of the deceased was sent for a postmort test,” the statement said.
The police said they were trying to find out the identity of the accused involved in fire.
