Class 10 students across the state have been using the Mana Mitra WhatsApp Governance service extensively to download hall tickets for the upcoming public exams, reflecting the growing shift towards digital access to government services.
For the first time, the government has made it possible for students appearing for class 10 public exams to get hall tickets through Mana Mitra WhatsApp Governance number 9552300009.
According to the official data, Mana Mitra WhatsApp Governance has recorded 3,16,990 hits from class 10 students out of which 2,38,728 students have successfully downloaded the hall tickets.
Besides, 65,477 students downloaded their hall tickets from the Education Department’s LEAP app, while the highest number – 7,53,834 students – accessed their hall tickets through the official website.
Officials said the trend indicates a significant increase in digital awareness among students appearing for the Class 10 public exams. Unlike earlier years when most students visited their schools to pick their hall tickets, this year thousands of students opted to get them digitally through online platforms, Mana Mitra and the LEAP app.
This shift has significantly reduced the need for students to visit schools to collect tickets from physical halls, which is an important step towards expanding digital governance in the education sector, according to a press release.
