The 19 -year -old woman was reportedly raped by a gang of 23 people in six days, while the accused had drugs and took it to several hotels when she was misused, the police said on Monday (April 7, 2025). Six of the accused were arrested.
Another police commissioner, Cantonment, Vidush Saxen said that a woman was released with some young people on March 29. Her family reported 4th April missing news when she didn’t return home.
When the police saved her, she did not mention the rape, he said.

“The woman told the police that between March 29 and 4 April, the accused allegedly took her to many hotels and bars and called her to the gang,” the officer said.

The mother of a woman in her complaint said her daughter went on March 29 to her friend’s house.

“The next day, March 31, a boy named Ayush, along with his five other friends named Sohail, Danish, Anmol, Sajid and Zahir, took her to a continental café in Sigra and forced her to drink intoxicants and raped her one.
“There, a man raped her there and then threw her away. When she left the place, she met a boy named Imran on her way, who also raped her in the hotel after giving her intoxicants.
“April 2, a boy named Raj Khan took her to the roof of his house in Hukulganja, where she was shouting after her after the drug.
“April 3, identified as a Danish, took her to her boyfriend, and there, Sohail, Shoib and some other boy drugged her daughter and raped her. Later she left her near Chowkghat. The next day 4.
The named were identified as Raj Vishwakarma, Sameer, Ayush, Sahail, Danish, Anmol, Sajid, Zahir, Imran, Jaib, Aman and Raj Khan.
The case was registered according to sections 70 (1) (gang rape), 74 (attack or use of criminal force for a woman with intention to outrage her modesty), 123 (causing poison injury, etc., with intent to commit crime), 126 (2) (incorrect restriction), 127 (2) (Brhariter), Brharatova) (BNS), the police said.
