The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) on Saturday, August 29, demolished 19 unauthorized structures and served notices on 12 others as part of its enforcement drive across its borders.

CMC inspection teams identified 26 unauthorized structures during field inspections conducted during the day. Of these, 19 were demolished, with 12 notices issued to trespassers through the prescribed procedure.

The remaining seven unauthorized structures found will be taken up for further enforcement action, CMC said.

The highest number of demolitions was recorded in Serilingampally zone where nine unauthorized structures were removed. This was followed by six demolitions in Quthbullapur zone and four in Kukatpally zone.
