Eighteen individuals, most of whom were considered Indian origin, were arrested, and assets worth more than $ 4.2 million seized after the dismantling of organized criminal networks associated with the Ontario province, according to the Regional Police Peel.

“More than $ 4.2 million in assets” were obtained from the ownership of 18 accused, the police said in a press release issued on Monday, June 16, 2025). While the release did not confirm the nationality of those arrested, the names suggest that most may be of Indian origin.
Since June 10, 18 personal-including Javady Torabi, 37-year-old women from King City and 17 men from Brampton were arrested and charged and charged with a total of 18 years old.

Police chief Peel Police Nishan Duraiappah noted that “almost half of the arrested were already some form of court release at that time – again raised serious concerns about repeated perpetrators and urgent need to reform deposit”.
Several suspects were associated with towing companies operating under the names of certified road and humble roads. The police revealed evidence of insurance fraud concerning collisions of vehicles as well as the use of threats, attacks and firearms to dominate local towing.
“The success of Outsource Project Outsource sends a clear message: criminal organizations that use violence, fear and fraud for the prey of our communities will be identified, investigated and dismantled,” said Michael S. Kerzner, Ontario attorney.
This operation included the Peel Regional Police, the Ontario provincial police, the Halton Regional Police, the Toronto Regional Police and the Toronto Police Service.
“In recent years, the Peel Region has seen a sharp increase in attempts at violent blackmail focused on South Asian owners of enterprises, including demands for large amounts of money, threats for non -payment, and violent actions, including a shot.
