Equipment, income and mine departments carried out coordinated raids at several places in the Rajanagararam Mandal district, East Godavari district, based on complaints about illegal excavations and transport stored for the left main channel (LMC).
At the same time, the teams that operate on information provided by the locals have seen three places along the LMC alignment. The raids led to the seizure of 17 trucks and four countries that were allegedly involved in the unauthorized collection and transport of clay designed for the channel 1 200 Crore project.
In an official statement, assistant director Director D. Phanibhushan Reddy confirmed seizures and stated that the investigation is under illegal activities. The LMC works, which are part of the Critical Polavaram project, are currently progressing at a rapid pace.
