To help victims of mobile phone theft and loss, the Bapatla District Police handed over 153 recovered mobile phones worth over ₹30,000, with Superintendent of Police B. Umamaheswar returning the devices to their owners on Saturday (April 18).
The distribution was the fourth phase of a special mobile rescue drive at the district police headquarters. Officials said the phones were restored during March 2026.
