More than 150 Dhaki inhabitants moved to their relatives after shelling was damaged by more than a dozen houses.
“We did not expect such a situation on dead night. We were lucky to survive shelling, so it was better to move to some safer place so far,” said Khurshid Ahmad, resident Dhaki.
“Pakistan retaliation for Indian activities by focusing on the civilian population. They missed military targets and killed us overnight, killed our people and hurt a lot. The damage to our homes and property is massive,” Sardar Navneet Singh of Mankote said.
