(PTI photos) On Sunday, the Vibhav SuryavANSHI became the youngest Centurion in the Men’s T20 cricket and broke the second fastest ton in the history of Indian Premier League (IPL).
Fourteen-year-old raced into a century of only 35 balls in his third match of IPL 2025. His knocking was dotted with 11 six and seven and Rajasthan Royals chased the 209-run target at 15.5 overs.
“It’s a very good feeling. It’s my first one hundred in IPL and it’s my third shift. The result showed here after practice before the tournament,” said SuryavANSHi player.
“I just see the ball and playing. It was a dream to get 100 in the IPL and today it materialized. There is no fear. I don’t think I focus too much on playing.”
In the 18th century, Vaibhav SuryavANSHi was also the fastest Indian in the IPL, which improved the 37-Miček efforts of Yusuf Pathan for Rajasthan against the Indians in Mumbai in 2010.
