The elite TELAngany action group for drug recovery (Eagle), in coordination with the government’s railway police (GRP), Rail Protection (RPF) and local police, arrested 13 people on raids throughout the state and confiscated narcotics worth 1.09 crore.
5 Holded from Secunderabad Rly Stn
August 22, Eagle’s Railways Team and RPF and GRP staff, charged four interstate drugs from the train on the Secunderabad railway station and confiscated 91 kg of marijuana worth 22.75 GBP Lakh. August 27 was one more drug peddler caught from the same place with 5 kg marijuana worth 1.25 lakh.
Warangal Action
In Warangal, a coordinated event between the Eagle team and the Municipal Act and the Police Order for several arrests. 28th August were three pedals, including a woman, caught by transporting a smuggler via the Express Konark, and 32 kg of marijuana worth 8 Lakh was obtained.
On August 30, two drugs were detained in the Mulug district, where 30 kg of marijuana marijuana was seized.
On September 7, the man was arrested from the limits of the Police Station in Inavol under the Wrarangal Committee and was confiscated by 214 kg of marijuana worth 53.5 lakh.
Sangareddy raids
In a separate operation on August 29, Eagle Sangareddy found the team, which helped the Municipal Police Sangareddy, an Alprazolam production unit. The air raid led to a seizure of 270 grams of alprazolam, 7.89 kg of Nordiazepam, raw materials and equipment used for production. The haul was awarded at 16.31 GBP Lakh.
Two persons-Goundl Srinivas Goud, 38 years, a recurring perpetrator in the Sangareddy district, with the previous NDP case against him at the Jinnaram police station in 2023, and Goundl Mallesham, 35, operated by the Tiffin Center in Sangareddy and was now charged with narcotics.
