Twelve Maoist landfills, including a room that resembled a bunker with a concrete slab, was uncovered and destroyed by the police on the hill in the Chhattisgarh district in Bijapur, the official said on Saturday (April 19, 2025).
Operation was performed by 208. COBRY Battalion (Commando Battalion for Resolute Action), elite CRPF unit, from its camp Jeedpalli, the official said.
“One of the shelters was as a 160 -square -foot bunker. He was wearing a concrete slab. Six solar plates were obtained, two Maoist uniforms, two ceiling fans and other materials,” he said.
