New Delhi: Captain Dilli Capitals Axar Patel in the final summoned the clinical design of Mitchell Starc as a key factor in their super nail over the victory against Rajasthan Royals at the ARUN Jaitley stadium on Wednesday. In the match that went down to the wire, Royals demanded only nine runs since the last, but the Starc held his nerves and gave only eight to force the first super over IPL 2025.
“I knew that if the old man hit his brand, we would return to the competition. He added 12 balls straight-every one focused as a yorker. He is an Australian legend and his thinking was in place. He missed the mark only once,” Axar said.
Delhi, who first fired at the time of regulation, chased the 12-run goal at Super Over with a remarkable ease. Kl Rahul and Tristan Stubbs closed victory with only four supplies, with Sandeep Sharma dealing with pressure on Rajasthan.
Axar, who thought about the team’s tab, admitted that Delhi had not achieved expectations during PowerPlay.
“Our uninhabited attitude won the game”: Nephal Wadher
“We had a score more early. Kl Rahul mentioned that the altitude wasn’t working. I reminded the boys to remain positive and showed the intention.

How essential was the final of Mitchell Starc to ensure victory for Delhi Capitals?
When assessing the overall performance of Delhi Axar, he said the team had gained dynamics after a slow start. “Everything is good, it ends well. The way we started, especially in powerplay, we could do better.”
“During the first strategic break our dough told us that the goal was difficult for the new dough. I told them to keep their intention. Fortunately, we raised steam around 12 or 13 years.”
