
The administration of drug control in Telangana (DCA) revealed extensive violations in 115 pharmacies connected to corporate hospitals throughout the state. On Saturday it was part of a special drive made through Telangana.
The inspections were carried out in pharmacies located or attached to corporate hospitals. Drive revealed multiple discrepancies, including prescription drugs without the presence of a registered pharmacist, non -relevant accounts of the sale and absence of correct regulations and registrations of H1 drugs. In several cases, pharmacies could not create shopping accounts for stored medicines, the edition said.
Teams have also found that medicines are sold without registered doctors, inconsistencies in maintaining copies of sales and purchasing accounts, incorrect storage of thermorable medicines, storage of physicians and even expired medicines stored along the sales reserves.
DCA issued announcements of the demonstrations of all these 115 pharmacies and stated that the next steps would be taken under the provisions of the 1940 drug and cosmetics Act.
