
The National Lok Adalat carried out on Saturday resulted in a resolution of 11,674 cases in the district of Mysuru.
The publication stated that according to the National Office for Legal Services, New Delhi and Karnataka State Legal Services Authority, Bengaluru, across all courts in the state, including the Mysuru district, on Saturday.
The purpose was to solve pending cases for courts that are combined by law, in addition to preliminary matters through a compromise to reduce the pendant.
According to the authorities, there are 1.27 153 cases waiting for the courts in the Mysurus district, of which 61 193 are civil cases and 60 932 are criminal cases.
Among them, 39,640 cases were identified as combined and 22,161 cases were adopted for compromise settlement during Lok Adalat. Of these, 11,674 waiting cases were resolved by a compromise, the authorities said.
The main aspect was the reconciliation of 44 pairs involved in the family dispute and after the resolution of their differences were re -connected, the authorities added.
