More than 100 women artists will exhibit their works at the state level painting exhibition ‘Varna Sambhrama-5’ organized by Dr. MV Minajagi Kala Mandir Samiti as part of International Women’s Day celebrations in Hubballi.
The exhibition will be held from March 8 to 18.
Speaking to reporters here on Friday, Samiti member Savita Benagi said artistes from across Karnataka would participate in the function during which senior artist Meenakshi Balu Sadalagi of Belagavi would be felicitated with the ‘Sarvavarnatmike’ award.
Prasad Abbayya, MLA, will inaugurate the event at 11:00 AM at the Hubballi District Magistrate office. Mayor Jyoti Patil, writer Bharati Hiremath, businessman Dhiren Thakkar will be the guests.
The exhibition will be held at Minajagi Art Gallery on the first floor of HDMC Zonal Office (No. 5) in Vidyanagar. It will be open to the public from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m
