A 100-day action plan will be formulated to strengthen the functioning of Palakkad Medical College, Minister for Welfare of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes KA Thulasi said. Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, the minister said the decision was taken at a high-level meeting convened in Palakkad the other day against the backdrop of mismanagement of affairs in the institution in recent times.

Technical obstacles

Steps will also be taken quickly to fill vacancies for teaching and non-teaching staff at the Faculty of Medicine.
