
The number of people who have undergone the treatment of amoebic meningoencephalitis in the Government Faculty of Medicine, Kozhikode, and a thirteen -year -old boy from Malappuram was diagnosed with infection on Saturday.
According to sources, there are six people in the main block of the hospital and four children are at the Institute of Wings for the Health of Mothers and Children.
Meanwhile, officials of the medical department have begun steps to identify the source of the native Thrissura, who died in the treatment of 19 September. Raheem, 59, a native of Chavakkad in Thrissur, worked at a hotel in Panniyankara in the city. Kozhikode Corporation ordered the hotel to be closed until other orders. For laboratory analysis, water samples from the hotel and Rahim’s living spaces were collected. People in the neighborhood and others connected with the hotel were asked to seek medical treatment if they have any symptoms.
