
The main election commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar revealed on Wednesday that making elections in India requires 10 50,000 stands and 1,00,000 officers at the stand level.
Gyanesh Kumar was present at the inauguration of the first training for officers at the level of the stand, organized by the Election Commission in the Indian International Institute of Democracy and Electoral Proceedings (IIIDEM) in Nový Delhi.
“Indian elections are the largest in the world. The election commission will set up 10,50,000 cabins for the management of these elections,” he said, adding that in each election stand the officer at the level of the election role helps to verify the names.
Kumar said the EC first organized an educational program. “We will train 1.00,000 stalls at this training,” Gyanesh Kumar quoted.

Meanwhile, the official statement issued by the EC said more than 1 Lakh BLOS with an average of BLO to 10 polling stations will be trained in these educational programs in the coming years. Gyanesh ordered all CEOs, Deos and Eros to perform meetings of all parties at their level and to resolve any concerns about their jurisdiction area, which includes the correct update of electoral roles. He also warned that any complaint against ERO or BLO would be taken seriously.
