Krishna Bhagya officials Jal Nigam Limited (KBJNL) increased the quantum of water released from the Basavasagar reservoir in Narayanpur from the Yadgir district to the river Krishna.
According to official sources, they released 1.12 Lakh Cusecs water from the reservoir to the river, when on Sunday there was a tributary in the tank 1.15 Lakh Cusecs at 15:30.
The current water level in the tank is 490.72 m against the full level of the tank (FRL) 492.25 m.
As usual, the Council for Village Residents was published on the shore of Krishn. It is said that they should not go into the river for any reason, including fishing or obtaining water for animals.
