The Cabinet on Wednesday announced a scheme to provide ₹1,000 per month as operating grant to 19,470 Area Development Societies (ADS) in Kudumbashree in the state.
The government will allocate ₹23.4 million annually for the scheme.
ADS forms the middle tier of Kudumbashree community organizations. ADSs operate at ward level and include affiliated neighborhood groups within the ward.
